A graduate of the USC School of Social Work, Andrea managed treatment programs and clinical training programs in Outpatient Psychiatry at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for more than 10 years. Prior to that, Andrea was a Program Director at an Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital, and before that, a medical Social Worker in women's oncology.
This broad and deep understanding of severe pathology as well as the emotional impact of grief and loss informs Andrea's work with the intense stressors of family life, career changes and feelings of inadequacy. Her background and training drive her compassionate approach to anxiety and depression, and give her the optimism and hope that fuels her work.

Alexxa focuses on children and adolescents with a special emphasis on chronic illness, racial and identity issues and low self-esteem. She provides a safe, optimistic and warm environment for your child to learn to cope better with the challenges they face.
Alexxa uses imaginative play, games and art activities to engage children and adolescents in a seamless flow of dialogue that helps them learn to manage their feelings and their behavior.
Parents and families are closely involved in the treatment with periodic family meetings and strategic planning to help the child or adolescent thrive.
A graduate of the Columbia University School of Social Work, Alexxa is a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW 61641) in California under the direct supervision of Andrea Rogers, LCSW (CA Lic: LCS 18254).
